| Description |
Well-chosen compost crops provide both food and significant amounts of material for your compost pile, both summer and winter, as well as improve the soil with their root systems. We'll talk about various compost crops and how to plan your rotation for them and the other food crops you grow, to promote a healthy, more sustainable garden. Carol managed the Research Garden at Ecology Action for nearly twenty years! Now she and her neighbors in the middle of Willits are collaborating on a community garden in the empty lot next door. |
